Good morning from New Zealand!! And a GREAT morning it is!
We want to update you that the visa's for Mario and Stanley have been passed and we are booking their flights to come to New Zealand for the first week of March!! PRAISE THE LORD!! We can't express how excited we are and how amazing our God is - He has done miracles with these boys and with the whole ID/birth certificate/passport/visa process - and they are coming!
They will be joining us now one month late into the school term but as Capernwray is a school where they have a new teacher each week and are not graded heavily on academics, the boys will be fine school wise to join at this point. Everyone has been praying here at the school for their visa's and excitement is lingering in the air.
One more amazing thing is that there is an African woman living here on campus. She isn't involved with the school but is a Christian widow who needed a place to stay so lives in a unit here and works at a seniors home in town. She is an amazing Godly woman and it may be very helpful having her here with their culture shock :) Praise the Lord!
Jesse is also speaking this coming week so pray for wisdom and that the Holy Spirit will move through him and touch the students' lives. His topic is: "Being Imitators of God"
Please also pray with us for:
- preparation for the boys as they pack and prepare this week
- cheap flights
- culture shock
- preparation for us here at Capernwray - might be a bit of culture shock for the people here as well
Thank-you so much for your prayers and thank-you already to those who are giving towards the boys' flights.
Excited in Christ,
Jesse and Jen

Family and Friends,
Hello from New Zealand! In this letter, we want to ask for your prayers and consideration more urgently for Mario and Stanley, the Kenyan boys who, God willing, will be here with us in New Zealand in a couple weeks!
MARIO & STANLEY: As many of you know, we had quite a bit of trouble with Mario’s passport. However, God has poured out miraculous blessings one after the other … when it should have been a very difficult and long process to get a new Kenyan ID, a new birth certificate and a passport … it all happened within 2 weeks! Mario and Stanley both have their passports which are now in South Africa along with their visa applications which are being processed! We are praying and hoping that they will be in New Zealand before the end of February! Please pray with us that this process will be quick and we can get them started in school.
It is such a blessing that Capernwray has offered Mario and Stanley free schooling but we need to pay for their flights and spending money while here. This is something that we would like to ask you to pray for as well as ask God if this is something that you would be willing to give towards. The flights will cost approx. $4000.00 and we are estimating approx. $50.00/month for each boys’ spending money, therefore, $4400.00 in total. Because there was quite a hold up with Mario’s documents and we weren’t sure if they would be able to come, we did not want to ask for this specific request. Now that this is realistic and we are preparing for them to arrive, we are seeking your assistance.
If you would like to make a pledge of money to sponsor/support these two boys, would you let us know. Because we want to have full confirmation that they received their visa’s and are coming to school before you actually send money, please follow the following process:
1. Email to Jesse or Jen the amount you would like to give
2. When we hear that the visa’s are approved we will let you know and you can mail your cheque to:
Gaylord Evangelical Free Church

Thank-you so much for your prayers and taking the time to read this.
God bless you,
Jesse and Jen Hein
